Power of Trust

~The morning light was soft and warm on Meredith's face as she saw her horse in the field full of mist and light. She had woken up early and had set out to spend time with Takoda. The mustang's head lifted with a hopeful whinny. Her strong legs strummed on the ground as she cantered over to her friend. Meredith caught her in a hug and a blissful smile came to her lips. The horsehair bracelet she had braided only a few days ago blended in with the very same mane it had been made from. She watched as the early sun painted the tips of her horse's forelock golden and basked in the happiness that being alone with a horse brings. No time spent with a horse was ever wasted.
