At last, I've finally managed to get my highlights AND a background to my liking! It's definitely miles easier painting a background when you're working with 150x150 pixels versus 800x600.
I tried out ~ana-made-it's tutorial, because her art is always drool-worthy and the guide was so well done. Go check it out!
(by the way, Ana, I promise I wasn't trying to use the same stock as you, I'm just addicted to *Breathless-dk's stock too, haha)
The background was actually really fun to make, I got the idea for it when I was driving back from a riding lesson last night. The sun was just setting over the mountains in the distance and the sky was turning a bright orange. And of course, the fields with the horses were so beautiful!
